I am a HUGE NFL fan. I will never miss a game cheering on my favourite football team and try my best to stay up to date on all sports related news. I admire the physical aspect of the game and the commitment to training the body, but what I really love is the mental toughness these players have. They prepare their minds all week by studying the next opponent or watching film studying their own mistakes to approve the next time around. Although football can seem like a flashy sport it really is a team mentality, there is no room for selfishness but only dependence on others to get the job done. With all that being said the main reason I truly love being a fan is that it gives me quality time with family and friends to come together once a week.
- What is your Favorite film or book?
This is a difficult question to answer because I watch and love so many different films (most people in my life come to me for film recommendations), but my top three would be “The Departed”, “Goodfellas”, or “The Wolf of Wall Street”. I guess one could assume I am a big fan of Martin Scorsese.
- Who do you look up to/admire?
Not to be cliche but the person I admire the most is my mother. She would do anything for the people she cares about and puts everyone else’s needs way above her own. You could tell her anything without fear of judgement and would have comfort in knowing she will always be your number 1 fan. However, the other contrasting side to her is so strong she has no issues standing up for what is right, defending herself, or telling you her absolute honest opinion. She really is the best of both worlds someone who is kind but knows her worth.
