GET TO KNOW GERMAN:

What is your favourite accessory? Where did you get it? 

I would consider my vintage camcorder an accessory. I carry my dad's old camcorder everywhere I go, so I would consider it an accessory. I remember as a kid, my dad would always film my mom and me when we traveled. Now, I film everything around me and combine all the clips to make a sort of episode-by-episode autobiography about me and my friends. 

What is your favourite film or book? 

I like weird movies. One of the last films I really liked was Beau Is Afraid. I can't even put it into a specific genre. It's an entirely chaotic, overly detailed, mind-twisting adventure. I remember sitting there in the audience, saying, "is this a real movie? or am I just going crazy?"

When you’re not modelling, what else are you up to? 

I’ve been making music for 5 years, and music production has become a big part of my life. Since I was 13, I don’t think there’s ever been an hour when I did not think about music. I love to record, mix, and write songs with my friends. I make everything: from film scores to EDM, hip-hop, and pop music; it all depends on my mood.

Is there anything you wished would come back in (or leave and never return) in fashion?

I wish people stop buying into logomania pieces. I feel like people turn into walking billboards.
