What is your biggest motivation?
I think it is to create my own joy. There is a lot of negativity around us and if we let it consume us that can obscure us from the positivity to be found in small things surrounding us. So many horrible things in the world that I cannot influence but there are many things in my little part of the world that I can - so I think my motivation is to do the simple little things that bring joy to my life, my family, and the people that I encounter on a daily basis. Sounds selfish, but it all kind of starts with us, I must have some joy to be able to pass it on, so I always try and have something to look forward to.
Is there anything you wished would come back in (or leave and never return) in fashion?
I really wish 70’s sundresses would make a comeback where women were more experimental with fabric prints. This was back in the days when every woman had a sewing machine and it was nothing to pick out a pattern, get some fabric, matching zipper and thread, and “run up a dress”. It’s sad how us new generation don’t have the patience to learn to make our own clothes now and find the joy of styling our own creativity.

I speak and understand five languages including English, Hindi, Gujrati, Marathi & Japanese
